- i stayed here recently, it is quite grand in the lobby but thats about as far as it goes!! i didnt like the bedroom. maybe its just me but if a hotel doesnt have nice bed covers then its not nice. i dont like the mccurtain st area of cork anyway it is a bit rough!

- The Metropole is a really nice hotel and centrally located. Have been at the leisure centre and it's amazing really nice steam room and jacuzzi. - Ive been to the Metropole numerous times over the years, for different occasions. I even took classes here for school, when our school got flooded! Its a good spot for atmosphere though.
